Wildlife Removal Cost Guide

What changes wildlife removal pricing, including inspection, animal type, attic or crawl-space access, exclusion, cleanup, and urgent service.

Wildlife removal pricing changes by species, access, timing, cleanup, and whether exclusion is included. Use this as quote-prep, not a guaranteed price sheet.

Ask every provider what is included in the quoted visit: inspection, removal, return trips, sealing, cleanup, and warranty terms can be separate line items.

Cost factorPlanning bandWhat changes it
Inspection or initial visit $100-$300 Sometimes credited toward removal if you book the work.
Single animal removal $150-$500+ Access, urgency, and species rules can move this higher.
Attic, chimney, or wall activity $300-$900+ Hard access, young animals, and entry-point work add complexity.
Bat exclusion $600-$2,500+ Colony size, timing rules, guano cleanup, and sealing scope matter.
Exclusion or entry-point sealing $300-$1,500+ Vent guards, chimney caps, screening, and roofline repairs vary widely.
Droppings, odor, or insulation cleanup $250-$2,000+ Sanitation, deodorizing, and insulation work are usually quoted separately.

The animal changes the quote

A raccoon in an attic, squirrels using a soffit gap, bats exiting a gable vent, and skunks under a deck are different jobs. The provider needs to know the likely species, active area, and whether the animal is inside the structure.

Access changes the labor

Roof height, attic access, crawl-space doors, chimneys, vents, steep lots, sheds, decks, and locked gates all affect the visit. Photos from the ground can help, but avoid climbing or opening confined spaces if it is unsafe.

Removal is not the same as exclusion

A low removal-only price can leave the same gap open. Ask whether the quote includes one-way devices, screening, vent guards, chimney caps, sealing, follow-up inspection, or just the first animal visit.

Cleanup may be a separate job

Droppings, nesting material, urine odor, guano, dead-animal odor, and damaged insulation can require cleanup after the animals are gone. Ask whether cleanup is included, optional, or referred to a different provider.
